Since I have never done a Veteran's Day concert, or any fund-raising concert before, I would love feedback on how you thought the concert on November 11th went. Please be kind. If you have a negative, please make sure you also have a positive.

wow i loved the consert but every thing was kinda crazy every body was hiper but it was fun there was alot of screaming in the halls especially the dancers the young wones where the loudist

i think it when very well for the 1st time.the one thing i think we need 2 fix is the talking.when we sang we all did a very good job in the grand fanaly we all came in on our parts. i would like 2 do it again it was very fun.

7th grade
The concert was much better towards the end. I think the beginning was very hectic with the tickets. I didn't like how Mrs.Hite took over the ticket selling when that was Megan, Maggie, and my job. but the end turned out to be great. The dancers where very rude though. But I would love to do this again.

There are three reasons that Ms. Hite "took over" the ticket sales 1) because I asked her to 2) when money is involved there must be an adult staff member involved and 3) there was a lot of yelling going on (not sure which student that was coming from)- not a great way to welcome people to the Dinner and concert.

there are some things we need to do better next time but most of it was spectacular!
things to improve:
-start ealier
-treat the guests BETTER
-look at things from someone elses perspective
-keep one door open to let people in & out without making so much noise
things we did good:
-I think we had good control of the event
-the students did our job
-the soloists did great!
-we ordered enough food for EVERYONE
-good song choice
-letter to the veterans
Overall i thought the concert went very good!
I thought we did really good, even though Hannah didn't get her speaking part! haha, over all, We did AWESOME!(:

It was rather busy at the beginning, and I would have rather not had the Future Britney Spears' preforming. However. We did well, Flanders Fields was beautiful, as was the finale. I think you could pull it off again. How ever, I think you should be specific about hair- as well. I saw a few children who had red bows in their hair.

ReplyDeleteMrs. Logan- thanks for your comments! The uniform policy doesn't apply to hair- I had a guy show up with a blue mohawk once! Even with uniforms, each student finds a way to be unique :)

ReplyDeleteI think overall it was an awesome night. The kids pulled together when it counted most, which is helpful. Especially to me :-) A special "Thanks" to the 8th graders for whispering or sitting quietly when the doors were open.
I feel very blessed to help where & when I'm needed.
Morgan and Hannah- That was totally my fault!! I will remember next time or you can interrupt me!!
